Say goodbye to unfitted micro-USB cables! Last week, the creators of MicFlip reached its funding goal on the crowd funding site, Indiegogo. With the support of over $75,000 dollar raised in under a month, the world’s first reversible micro-USB cable will finally be released this late summer. With MicFlip, users no longer have to guess which side fits into the plug. Devices ranging from Android to power banks can take advantage of this new cable without worrying about the orientation of the connector.
MicFlip features an ultra-strong braided nylon lead, a robust aluminum shell and gold plated plugs to prevent corrosion, with the option to purchase the 20 cm cable or the 200 cm cable.According to the Indiegogo campaign, product shipments will start in August, with a September 1st deadline. Upon its release, the reversible cable will sell for about $20, but pre-orders are available for $15. Is the cable worth the buy?
