With every update certain things change that you may or may not like. Luckily, a lot of these things can be changed back to normal. Here are a couple of quirks you may want to take note of:
- Make touch ID’s Unlock work like it did in iOS 9 – after you update you will have to press the home button to unlock your phone. If you liked the Touch ID- enables Home button to unlock it, head to Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button
- Replying to messages on Lock Screen – You can now reply to messages simply from the lock screen but if you are concerned about your privacy you can change this by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, enter passcode, and switch off “Reply with Message”
- Disable Raise to wake – Settings > Display & Brightness and then Uncheck “Raise to Wake”
- Clear out Spotlight Search Results – spotlight saves all your key search words so if you don’t like that here is how to disable it: Settings > General > Spotlight Search > uncheck the box next to Siri Suggestions
- Turn off Safari’s Autofill for Contact Info and Email Addresses: Settings > Safari > AutoFill
- Disable Reduce Motion if Message Effects Aren’t Working: Settings > Accessibility > Reduce Motion
- Remove the Dictation Button: Settings > General > Keyboard > turn “Enable Dictation” off
