In a continued effort to provide you with the best state-of-the-art data center infrastructure, this is to notify you that AIS will be performing system maintenance on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
Type of Maintenance: Database
Location: American Internet Services
Purpose: AIS Network Engineers will be working to update the database for the AIS client portal.
High Level Summary: On January 19, 2017, we will be performing scheduled database maintenance between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM (Pacific). During that time, ticket access may be limited/restricted intermittently as tables are re-indexed.
Window Start: 1/19/2017 – 2:00 AM PST
Window End: 1/19/2017 – 4:00 AM PST
Service Impact: Clients may experience difficulty submitting tickets.
Schedule: The window for maintenance is scheduled to begin at 2:00 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2017 and end no later than 4:00 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2017. The actual period time of work should not exceed 2 hours, however should additional time be required, notice will be provided and the maintenance window will be expanded.
Testing & Planning: All testing and planning being conducted during this window is part of a pre-defined checklist designed by the AIS network engineering team and consistent with industry standards.
Regression Planning: The AIS network engineering team will be on-site managing this window. As with any system change, while highly unlikely, there is a possibility that something unexpected may occur during the work process. Should any issues arise, all equipment will be placed back into standard operation and the work will be postponed until the issue is resolved.
