Location: Lightwave Data Center – 9305 Lightwave Ave, San Diego, CA 92123
Purpose: Repair fiber
Service Impact: This outage is affecting San Diego customers.
High-Level Summary:
Cogent is making progress as of 7:20 pm. RedOrum’s fiber circuit is back online and our services are back in order, failing back, although we have not received
an official notification from Cogent’s progress.

Dear Cogent Customer,
This is an update to the outage we are currently experiencing on our network in San Diego area. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. Please check http://status.cogentco.com for updates on this event.
Cogent field engineers are still working on site with fiber provider engineers, in order to identify continuity on the fibers to bypass the fiber cut.
This issue is escalated to the highest level within our fiber provider as well as within Cogent. We will continue working until connectivity with both building s has been restored.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any ETR yet.
